About The Position

The NFL Players Association is looking for a Salary Cap Coordinator to support the administration, analysis, and strategic oversight of the NFL’s salary cap system. This role plays a critical part in protecting player interests by monitoring club compliance, analyzing contract data, and assisting with collective bargaining–related matters. The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) is the union for professional football players in the NFL and headquartered in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities

  • Prepares and posts electronic versions of NFL Player Contracts to the website. Coordinates filing of NFL Player Contracts to retain original copy for records.
  • Screens and handles incoming phone calls, mail, and visitors.
  • Answers daily correspondence from the public on requests for general information.
  • Assists the Agent Administration Manager with SRA reviews/filings, agent seminar preparations, and reconciling agent dues/insurance documents.
  • Assists the database team with breakdowns of NFL player contracts/grids as well as inputting such information into the NFLPA internal database.
  • Assists the negotiation team with research relating to player contract negotiations.
  • Assists with the preparation of memorandums and spreadsheets for approval by department head and legal team for distribution to staff, players, and agents with information regarding player contracts and representation.
  • Assists with internal inquiries related to NFL salary cap and player contract information as well as agent statistics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
