Salary Cap Coordinator
About The Position
The NFL Players Association is looking for a Salary Cap Coordinator to support the administration, analysis, and strategic oversight of the NFL’s salary cap system. This role plays a critical part in protecting player interests by monitoring club compliance, analyzing contract data, and assisting with collective bargaining–related matters. Responsibilities
- Prepares and posts electronic versions of NFL Player Contracts to the website. Coordinates filing of NFL Player Contracts to retain original copy for records.
- Screens and handles incoming phone calls, mail, and visitors.
- Answers daily correspondence from the public on requests for general information.
- Assists the Agent Administration Manager with SRA reviews/filings, agent seminar preparations, and reconciling agent dues/insurance documents.
- Assists the database team with breakdowns of NFL player contracts/grids as well as inputting such information into the NFLPA internal database.
- Assists the negotiation team with research relating to player contract negotiations.
- Assists with the preparation of memorandums and spreadsheets for approval by department head and legal team for distribution to staff, players, and agents with information regarding player contracts and representation.
- Assists with internal inquiries related to NFL salary cap and player contract information as well as agent statistics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
