About you: You are a morning person and like to start your day before the sun rises. You are a quick mover and appreciate getting things done efficiently. You like to keep your workspace clean and seek out opportunities to "leave it better than you found it." You believe that being on time means arriving five minutes early. You acknowledge your mistakes and learn from them. You enjoy working with your hands. You have a courteous and friendly attitude. What you will be doing: Prep ingredients by washing, chopping, cutting, grinding, weighing, and mixing. Assemble salads, sandwiches, sides and desserts and package them for retail sale. Organize packaged food items and place in staging area for drivers to pick up and deliver. Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality. Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage. Available to work early mornings Sunday- Wednesday 6:00AM-2:PM & Thursday 5:00AM-1:00PM
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of kitchen language
- Neat and professional appearance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Nice To Haves
- Conversational Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Prep ingredients by washing, chopping, cutting, grinding, weighing, and mixing.
