About The Position

The Salad Bar Associate is responsible for preparing and maintaining the salad bar area, ensuring that all vegetables and fruits are cleaned, peeled, and sliced to the highest standards. This role involves operating slicing and peeling equipment, pricing products, displaying items attractively, and making fruit and vegetable trays. The associate must maintain a thorough knowledge of all products sold in the department and keep the salad bar area neat and clean. Customer interaction is a key part of the role, requiring courteous and tactful communication.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week during the hours of 10AM - 6PM.

Responsibilities

• Clean, peel, slice, and prepare all vegetables and fruits.
• Operate all slicing and peeling equipment.
• Price products for the salad bar.
• Display and put away all products.
• Make fruit trays and vegetable trays with high presentation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department.
• Keep the area around the salad bar neat and clean.
• Interact with customers in a courteous and tactful manner.
