About The Position

Architect and Design SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions to meet business and security requirement for a Federal client Provide expert knowledge, guidance, and leadership on SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation. Lead end-to-end implementation of identity lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, access requests, and role management. Develop and maintain integration frameworks with systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, HR platforms, and cloud applications. Define and enforce access control policies, RBAC models, and segregation of duties (SoD). Ensure IAM solutions meet compliance standards through audit support and certification campaigns. Optimize system performance, workflows, and connectors for scalability and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, and application owners. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IAM engineers and analysts. Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and SOPs. Interface with client, stakeholders, team members, and executives via verbal and written communications to present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Stay current with IAM trends, SailPoint product updates, and emerging technologies. Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of client deliverables and technical content Able to take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility for tasks. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and respond to change quickly. Experience troubleshooting software failures and systems incompatibilities in a production environment. Ability to work in a team environment and also produce work deliverables independently. Work with team on designs, code reviews, and testing based on customer processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience in Identity & Access Management, SailPoint IdentityIQ architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, BeanShell, XML, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Deep understanding of IAM principles, identity lifecycle, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, version control (e.g., Git), and enterprise integration.
  • Proven ability to lead complex IAM projects and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice To Haves

  • SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Architect.
  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance
  • CISSP, CISA, or other relevant security certifications.
  • Experience in cloud IAM (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM) and hybrid environments.
