About The Position
The Safety & Training Officer, Sr (DPW) is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing training programs for employees in the assigned department, focusing on enhancing employee education and skill levels. This role also facilitates safety-related training and inspections to improve workplace safety and health. The officer will coordinate all aspects of the CDL program, including classroom instruction, road training, and testing preparation, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This position requires a self-motivated individual capable of working independently and providing high levels of customer service to all CDL clients.
