About The Position

As the Safety Technician within the organization, your primary responsibilities will be the following core tasks.

Requirements

• Experience working within an HSE program.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft suite of products is essential, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Avetta.
• Ability to work in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
• Effective organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines/goals by effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports departmental and site safety leadership initiatives.
• A required participant in: project reviews, hazard assessment, and PSSR meetings.
• Provides input to the concept development and construction stages of projects.
• Champion the Safety Management System (SMS) site.
• Advise on worker competency program.
