About The Position

As an intern at MasterBrand, you will play a supportive role in all aspects of the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Programs. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the EHS e-file structure and assisting with various safety initiatives. You will coordinate training programs, manage safety equipment, and participate in inspections and incident investigations. Responsibilities

• Assist with completing all corrective action items to increase the current top 15 score of 46.02%.
• Coordinate annual hearing conservation training and testing for all affected team members.
• Manage the eyewear program and keep track of all participants.
• Issue light duty dust masks and have team members sign the appendix D form.
• Support Hazard Communication program with chemical inventory and SDS audit.
• Conduct training as required and document all training in the e-file structure.
• Perform basic first aid and initiate emergency services when needed.
• Verify AIC entries are complete and accurate.
• Assist with incident investigation to determine root causes and assign corrective actions.
• Perform daily inspections and spend approximately 70% of your time on the floor.
• Serve as the Chairperson for the Safety Committee and complete at least one project per quarter.
• Collect Always Aware Audits and perform at least one Behavior-Based Safety Observation weekly.
• Manage data for landfill avoidance and utilities.
