This is how you will grow: Support the development and execution of vehicle safety test programs. You’ll lead occupant sled and safety sub-system testing, manage test properties, and ensure compliance with FMVSS, IIHS, and US NCAP standards. This is a high-impact role where precision, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration ensure safe and reliable vehicle performance. Support Vehicle Safety Engineering development and delivery of test program Deliver quality test events through fixturing, test set up, test property pedigree verification. Manage, track and deliver any required test property updates and retrofits Drive delivery of testing to project milestones Ensure quality test reports and proper data collection Manage parts and logistics for testing development activities Deliver efficient test property usage through re-use strategies Communicate all test results to the cross functional team
Requirements
- Occupant Sled and Safety Sub-System testing experience and a deep understanding of FMVSS requirements (208,207,210,216,225), corresponding test procedures and required instrumentation.
- Candidates should also be familiar with IIHS and US NCAP testing procedure
- Automotive OEM experience
- Engineering degree needed
