About The Position
PITT OHIO , a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Safety Summer Internship . This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.
Requirements
- Minimum GPA of at least 3.0
- Attention to detail is a must
- Strong interest in the Safety field
- Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Review and update written OSHA programs
- Assist with review of driver qualification files
- Accident procedures including root cause analysis
- Various other duties
