About The Position
HazTek is hiring a Night Shift Safety Specialist near Ashburn, VA. We're seeking a proactive and experienced Data Center Safety Specialist to lead on-site safety efforts and ensure full compliance with OSHA standards. Oversee all aspects of industrial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and training materials tailored to mechanical trades Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to promote a safety-first culture. Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE) Ensure proper and safe use of ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other elevated work platforms. Requirements
- Ability to work from 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM required
- Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience required
- OSHA 30 in Construction required
- First Aid/CPR certified required
- Must have experience working on data center or mission critical builds
- Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
- Excellent verbal and written skills

Responsibilities

- Daily safety audits and inspections
- Inspect power tools and heavy equipment
