Your Impact As a Safety Specialist, you’ll be a visible presence on our jobsites—supporting inspections, identifying hazards, reinforcing safe behaviors, and helping project teams stay compliant and incident-free. You’ll work closely with field leaders, subcontractors, and the EHS team to build trust and strengthen a proactive safety culture. You will: Support daily jobsite safety activities and hazard recognition Reinforce company policies, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety plans Engage directly with field teams to promote safe behaviors Assist with incident response, reporting, and follow-up Build foundational skills for long-term growth in EHS leadership What You’ll Do Jobsite Safety Support & Hazard Identification Conduct daily safety walks and identify unsafe conditions or behaviors Communicate hazards and corrective actions clearly to field teams Monitor housekeeping, material storage, and overall site organization Safety Documentation & Reporting Assist with inspections, safety logs, incident reports, JHAs, and compliance records Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time Enter data into safety systems and reporting tools Training & Workforce Engagement Support orientations, toolbox talks, and daily safety huddles Participate in pre-task planning and coordination meetings Build confidence leading field-level safety conversations Compliance & Risk Support Help verify subcontractor compliance and required safety documentation Assist with PPE checks, signage, barricades, and hazard communication Support planning and documentation for high-risk activities (lifts, excavations, hot work, LOTO) Incident & Environmental Support Assist with initial incident response, documentation, and follow-up Support environmental compliance tasks such as SWPPP inspections, BMP checks, and rain event logs Contribute to emergency preparedness and severe weather readiness What Sets You Apart You’re reliable, observant, and comfortable speaking up when something doesn’t look right. Requirements

  • 0–3 years of construction safety or field experience
  • OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
