About The Position

The Safety Specialist at Reyes Beverage Group is responsible for implementing and delivering safety and risk management initiatives across multiple facilities, including Lancaster, Bakersfield, and Victorville. This role focuses on analyzing risk data to identify opportunities for injury prevention and coordinating safety training and committee activities. The position also involves investigating workplace injuries and participating in claims reviews, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 6+ years of specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver company's safety and risk management initiatives.
• Analyze risk data to identify opportunities for injury prevention.
• Coordinate safety committee meetings and activities with key employees and management.
• Discuss risk assessments of facilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate safety training for management and new hires.
• Coordinate with local management in the investigation of workplace injuries and collisions.
• Modify duty assignments and interactive processes as directed by the IDM team.
• Participate in workers' compensation and auto liability claim reviews in management meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
