Job requirements You have experience supporting large capital programs to implement new technologies and systems providing system safety expertise. You are comfortable working large, complex and fast paced team environments.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–8 years of experience in safety testing, evaluation, or operational risk management.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting safety data and supporting risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, operational risk management frameworks, or similar safety programs in aerospace, defense, or transportation.
  • Strong ability to interpret safety data, identify emerging risks, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication for documenting findings and presenting risk analyses to engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to FAA programs or NAS systems.
  • OSHA Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) or LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt.

Responsibilities

  • You will support safety testing, evaluation and validation activities.
  • Assist with collecting and analyzing safety data to identify potential risks.
  • Contribute to operational risk management and safety risk management assessments.
  • Document findings and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with FAA and engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • You’ll work cross-functionally with engineers, program managers, and stakeholders to ensure all safety-critical systems meet established safety performance standards and federal regulatory requirements.
