The Safety Specialist, Enforcement-DIR position is responsible for promoting recognized safety practices among businesses in compliance with State and federal safety and health laws. This role involves conducting safety and health inspections, identifying hazards, and enforcing regulations to ensure workplace safety. The incumbent will work independently after training and will report to a Safety Supervisor within the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration (NVOSHA) Enforcement Section.
