About The Position

The Safety Specialist and Safety Manager at KLM Trans Inc. is responsible for ensuring compliance with FMCSA rules and regulations while promoting a safe working environment. Requirements

• Minimum 6-12 months of experience in compliance, safety & DOT required.
• Knowledge of Electronic Logging Device (ELD) rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Google spreadsheets.
• Excellent record-keeping skills.
• Fluent in English and bilingual in Ukrainian, Russian, or Polish.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Create and monitor company safety policies.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Analyze safety policies for compliance and effectiveness.
• Provide training and guidance on safety regulations.
• Oversee accident investigations and record-keeping.
• Conduct drivers orientation and maintain DQF and HOS records.
• Manage vehicle maintenance records.
