About The Position

You will develop and implement requirements and application software for I&C Safety System products. Author technical documentation for implemented Safety System software. Work with senior engineers to perform engineering testing and resolve technical issues, ensuring software performs in accordance with design specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in software or computer engineering or a related technical field is required.
• Knowledge of C/C++ or embedded PLC function block diagram programming.
• Familiarity with the waterfall software development model.
• Experience with: Distributed PLC architecture design
• Experience with: SQL and/or database administration
• Experience with: OpenGL and/or HMI design principles
• Experience with: Real-Time Operating Systems
• Fundamental knowledge of industry standards governing software design, and documentation.
• As part of a cross-functional team including engineering, testing, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) and Integrated System Test (IST) groups to support the testing and certification of Safety System software.
• Execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
