This is how you will grow: Drive decisions for total number of sensors and sensor locations needed to deliver passive restraint deployment times provided by Occupant/HV/Fuel system performance engineers in front/side/rear/rollover crash modes while meeting "no-deploy" targets for low-speed, pothole, curb, & nuisance impacts Analyze CAE predictions of sensor signals to estimate deploy times for all impact modes Develop comprehensive no-deploy test matrix to ensure sensor system robustness Work with crash ECU supplier to develop appropriate trade-offs between no-deploy and must deploy events Support testing team to ensure quality data collection Create post-crash documentation to record results, observations and any necessary actions Communicate all test results to the cross functional team
