About The Position

SUMMARY: As a Security Officer, you patrol and protect the facility, grounds, and building to preserve the peace and make employees feel safe and secure.

Requirements

• High School Diploma OR GED
• One year of guard or public safety experience required
• NYS Security Guard Act License (OR) Registered as a Police or Peace Officer in NYS
• Valid NYS Driver’s license
• CPR certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire
• The Preventing Managing Crisis Situation (PMCS) certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Investigate cases of detected or reported criminal and safety matters
• Identify and report real or potential hazards in the environment
