About The Position

The Safety Security Officer II plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, employees, visitors, and physicians within Legacy Health facilities. This position involves protecting the buildings, equipment, and assets while providing assistance and information to customers, thereby contributing to a secure environment for healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years prior experience in Corrections, Military, First Responder (law enforcement, fire services, EMS), Behavioral Health/ER technician, or related Security experience; or one year of Legacy Health Associate Security Officer experience.
• Minimum two years experience with heavy public contact and an emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to use computer programs and write legible and grammatically correct reports.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and remain aware of current surroundings.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
