As a Safety & Security Worker, helping to maintain a safe work environment at our Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will ensure compliance with IKEA Risk Management Standards on a consistent basis via audits, follow-up, education and training and reports. You will respond to all accidents and provide basic first aid and/or CPR, perform accident investigations and complete reports, ensure building and premises security, monitor security video feeds and respond to alarms. Additionally, you will respond to various security situations including but not limited to injuries, medical events, natural disasters, theft, threats, fraud, misconduct and trespassing. You will work in partnership with the Safety and Security Manager and other unit leadership to investigate sensitive issues, intake and report injuries slip and falls, near misses and Workers Compensation incidents to the relevant partners via electronic reporting and phone systems.
