Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Sanitation Coordinator in a full-service restaurant.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to safety and sanitation.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays are Mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene Standards : Ensure that all areas of the restaurant, including kitchen, dining areas, restrooms, and storage spaces, meet health and safety codes. Supervise daily cleaning routines and ensure they are completed to high standards. Regularly sanitizes high-touch areas in the kitchen (such as doors and handles, tea machines, warmer handles, walk-in cooler handles, walk-in cooler handles, etc.) using disposable towels and approved disinfectant spray to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of germs.
  • Ensures that hand sanitizers are appropriately placed and regularly replenished in designated areas throughout the restaurant, adhering to established protocols and management directives.
  • Conducts thorough inspections of restroom facilities, cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and guests.
  • Managing Safety and Sanitation Equipment : Ensure all sanitation supplies (cleaning products, gloves, etc.) are stocked and available for staff use. Oversee the maintenance of cleaning equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition. Ensure all waste is disposed of in accordance with health and environmental standards. Promote recycling and sustainable practices in the restaurant.
  • Incident Reporting & Corrective Actions : Report and document any sanitation or safety incidents or violations immediately. Work with management to implement corrective actions, follow-up inspections, and ensure all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Managing Guest Safety : Ensure all areas are free from hazards that could cause accidents or injuries to guests (e.g., slippery floors, broken equipment). Monitor seating and dining areas to ensure they are safe and clean for guests.
