About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Safety Representative for an on-site opportunity in Bay City, TX. What You’ll Do Monitor and support safety programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards. Conduct jobsite, equipment, and facility safety inspections; identify risks; and recommend corrective actions. Partner with contractors to promote safe work practices and foster a positive, cooperative safety culture. Ensure client organizations remain compliant with safety regulations. Clearly communicate safety requirements and expectations to employees and contractors. Document and report safety observations, incidents, and accident data. Maintain consistent visibility on the jobsite to support safe operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience (industrial, refinery, and/or chemical plant experience strongly preferred).
  • TWIC Card required.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1904, 1910, 1926), NFPA codes, and applicable state/federal regulations.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen (ongoing screenings may be required).
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physically able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs., wear fall protection, and walk long distances on job sites.
