About The Position

Lingo is seeking an experienced and motivated Safety Representative to support our growing construction operations. This role will work closely with the Safety Director, project teams, and field leadership to implement, monitor, and continuously improve our safety programs across active jobsites. This position represents Lingo in the field daily and alignment with our core values is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong field presence, solid working knowledge of OSHA construction regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively with both field crews and management teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction safety (commercial construction preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction regulations (29 CFR 1926)
  • Experience performing jobsite inspections and field safety oversight
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Smartsheet)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to engage field personnel effectively

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 Construction certification
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • CHST, ASP, or CSP (a plus, not required)
  • Experience with safety management systems, audits, and compliance tracking
  • Experience working with trade partners and subcontractor safety programs

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits on active construction projects
  • Support site-specific safety planning, including JHAs, pre-task planning, hazard assessments, participate in safety meetings, project planning meetings, and site coordination efforts.
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
  • Support training delivery (toolbox talks, orientations, site-specific training)
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and client requirements
  • Support superintendents and project managers with field-level safety implementation
  • Assist with development and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures
  • Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture throughout the organization
