About The Position

The Safety Representative will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, reporting, and enforcing safety standards and policies in connection with Allegiant Stadium events. This role involves responding to all guest and employee injuries/illnesses during events, documenting and reporting incidents, interviewing witnesses, and ensuring compliance with safety practices and policies throughout the venue.

Requirements

  • A minimum education level of High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in report writing, inspections, investigations, safety, security, or related field.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to promote a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with discretion.
  • Work in compliance with State laws and local policies.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated self-starter with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to traverse a variety of terrain and floor surfaces.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to operate a tablet or laptop efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a team environment interacting with multiple departments.
  • Available to work non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all guest and employee injuries/illnesses during events.
  • Document and report all employee and guest injuries, near misses, equipment malfunctions, or safety issues.
  • Interview guests and witnesses and accurately document their statements.
  • Photograph all relevant items related to incident investigations.
  • Review and save video coverage for all guest and employee injuries.
  • Tag out or remove from service all damaged equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of all guest-facing areas to ensure compliance with safety practices and policies.
  • Ensure all staff are wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Ensure all emergency exits, pathways, and stairwells are unobstructed and accessible.
  • Ensure all emergency exits are marked, lighted, and clearly defined.
  • Ensure all walking and working surfaces are free from hazards.
  • Correct any electrical hazards.
  • Store and dispose of combustible and hazardous materials properly.
  • Ensure all areas are properly illuminated.
  • Ensure all fire extinguishers are mounted, serviced, tagged, and accessible.
  • Maintain at least 18 inches of clearance between sprinkler heads and stored items.
