In this position, you will get opportunities to inculcate and drive the EHS & ESG culture within the organization. You will work with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) to achieve and improve Site EHS & ESG metrics. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating Occupational Health & Safety Programs. You will also be responsible for the formation of a Safety Committee, owning the periodic meetings to resolve EHS-related issues, discussing good practices, and taking corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, you will celebrate EHS days and programs by conducting contests and events for the EHS day celebration. You will prepare, maintain, and implement required EHS-related documents, files, and formats for construction projects as well as for the facilities. Monitoring the service, maintenance, and calibrations of fire and safety systems at facilities and construction sites will also be part of your role. You will assist the Sales & Proposal Team with the required EHS & Quality related documents, certifications, and other required documents for bid proposals. This includes preparing the facility for on-site emergencies, implementing visitors and contractors safety programs, and preparing project safety plans for construction projects. You will provide training and briefings to field managers, engineers, and technicians, coordinate inspections, incident reports, near-miss reports, and investigations, and carry out compliance audits alongside the Global Director of EHS. Monthly EHS reports will need to be prepared and submitted to the Global Director of EHS, and you will coordinate with external agencies for EHS compliance and documentation. Hazardous and non-hazardous waste management and disposal as per statutory and regulatory guidelines will also be required, along with any other EHS & ESG requirements arising from time to time.

  • Academic background in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)
  • 8 - 12 years of experience leading EHS Operations in core manufacturing industry
  • Working knowledge of local and national applicable statutory/legal regulations related to EHS
  • Relevant Diploma in Industrial Safety + ESG is a plus
