About The Position

Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole person care. With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. We're hiring a full-time Safety Officer to join our team at our Montebello and Right Place Facilities. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM What You’ll Be Doing As a Safety Officer you would play a central role in providing the very best service and support to our clients and staff by securing various facilities. As a visible first contact for guests, the Safety Officer will enhance the guests’ experience by providing assistance and information. For staff, the Officer will be a reminder of Health Solutions’ commitment to a safe and secure workplace.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
At least three years of law enforcement, security or military experience
Ability to safely lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
Colorado driver’s license
Basic computer, including e-messaging, and documentation skills
Ability to work days, weekends, holidays and various shifts
Must already be authorized to work in the US; sponsorships not available.

Responsibilities

Greets customers when they come into our reception areas and asks if they need assistance; if so, assists as needed
Ensures the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitors surveillance equipment; inspects buildings, equipment and access points
Completes reports by recording observations, accurate information, occurrences
Engages and coordinates emergency response as needed
Maintains a calm and professional demeanor in stressful or emergency situations
Adheres to all company policies and procedures
Respects the privacy and confidentiality of people seeking healthcare services, in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Secures all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
Agrees to occasional intermittent work on unscheduled workdays for agency events
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Other duties as assigned
