What You Will Be Doing: As a Safety Officer at Anchorage Airport, you will coordinate and assist airport management in ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local safety and health laws, standards, and regulations. You will conduct job hazard analyses, maintain records, and handle accident reporting and investigations. A key part of your role will involve developing and implementing safety and health training programs for all airport employees. You will monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to established safety plans and procedures. Additionally, you will investigate complaints related to indoor air quality and perform periodic inspections of airfield property and facilities to identify hazards, operational concerns, and any non-compliance with relevant laws.
