This is an entry-level position classified as essential personnel, requiring presence during accidents, injuries, emergencies, and severe weather events such as hurricanes. The role will involve working evenings, weekends, or remaining on center for extended periods during major weather events. Additionally, evening and weekend availability is necessary to conduct inspections and periodic safety drills, including active shooter scenarios and emergency evacuations, to ensure staff and student preparedness. Reports to the Safety, Security & Transportation Manager. Responsible for enforcing all laws, rules and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department. Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring, and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards of: workplace relations and ethics; information management; communications; multicultural awareness; personal growth and development; career and personal planning; interpersonal skills and independent living.
