About The Position

The Upper Dublin School District, located in Montgomery County, is currently seeking highly-qualified candidates for the position of Safety Officer. Safety Officers will be responsible for the safety and security of the students and staff of their assigned building. During emergency situations they will be expected to remain calm and ensure the proper implementation of the building's safety response procedures. They will be required to understand and follow the written Post Orders, UDSD District Wide Response plan, and attend regular training as required by law or UDSD. During their work day they are expected to stay actively engaged with the students while performing the various safety assignments. You will be required to attend some after school hours activities. Please Note: This is not a law enforcement position.

Requirements

• Must pass NASRO or ACT 67 training within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities
