About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Security Officer in Elizabeth City, VA! As a Security Officer with Sentara, you will ensure a physically safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees. This position's primary duties include actively patrolling campuses and monitoring activity in and around buildings and responding appropriately to both routine and emergent situations. You will also document daily activities via computer, conduct investigations, evaluate situations, and take appropriate steps for resolution. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the safety of everyone on site.

Requirements

• Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends.
• Flexibility to work 24/7, 365 days a year.
