Requirements

Associate’s degree, preferred.
6000 TT/4000 Turbine-Powered.
Airline Transport Pilot License.
Management experience dealing with personnel.

Responsibilities

Responsible for recommending ‘best practice’ for flight department.
Participate on the leadership committee in recommending current and future safety practices and philosophy.
May manage other functions as directed by Director of Aviation that have significant role in the performance and function of the department, e.g. Safety, maintenance, standardization.
May perform other general department duties when not flying.
Assume 200% Safety Accountability – Self and Others.
Serve as Senior Captain on two fleet aircraft.
Determines that the aircraft is airworthy for each flight utilizing all applicable weather information and reports in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Oversee the safe operation of daily flight department in concert with Chief Pilot and Director of Aviation.
Oversight of training for flight, ground and maintenance team members.
Responsible for Customer Service.
Collect data related to safety trends and provide required reporting as determined by Director of Aviation.
