SAFETY MONITOR (SAN ONOFRE)
About The Position
Under general supervision, to direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow to ensure safe street crossings for students; to monitor student activity on the playground before school, during lunch, or after school. Responsible for taking minor disciplinary action against students when necessary and for reporting names of students who are discipline problems to the school principal or his/her designee. Student Safety Monitors may be responsible for administering first aid to students and for reporting all injuries to the principal or his/her designee.All applicants will be notified by email regarding their selection status. It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-placement physical, drug/alcohol-screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
Requirements
- High School degree or recognized equivalent
- Basic first aid knowledge
- Completed on-line application
- Mandatory written test
