About The Position

The construction safety manager will oversee safety for a contractor installing dock equipment and overhead doors at the new build of a QTS data center. This is a 1-month contract position starting on 05/4/2026, with a weekly pay schedule and an hourly rate of $49/HR. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 0700-1700, approximately 40-50 hours per week.

Requirements

• OSHA 30
• 5 years of construction safety
• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Effective organizational and multitasking capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
• In-depth understanding of EHS and construction industry regulations
• Ability to clearly communicate safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Has own laptop/tablet and 3 LOTO Tags

Nice To Haves

• OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and new hire orientations
• Deliver site-specific safety training
• Monitor on-site personnel and enforce safety standards
• Manage safety documentation and contractor correspondence
• Execute additional EHS duties as needed
