About The Position

Field Construction Safety Manager Location: Cleveland, OH Duration: 4+ Months (Start: 1/5/2026) Type: 1099 Contractor Job Details Hourly Rate: $56/hr (Local) $49/HR (non-Local) Per Diem: $135/day worked on site if over 50 miles from project location Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay: Weekly Schedule: 50+ hours/week, 5 10's, some Saturdays Project Scope The Field Safety Manager will oversee electrical contractors working on upgrading the steel plant

Requirements

OSHA 510 or higher (BCSP preferred)
Must have 5+ years of safety experience
Electrical experience is mandatory
Must have experience with LOTO
Must understand the energy wheel.
FR outerwear is required
Metatarsal boots required
Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations

Nice To Haves

OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)
Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Responsibilities

Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
Perform daily audits for compliance and report to the site Foreman with any deficiencies
Assist with collecting and submitting daily paperwork to the client
Perform orientations and assist with ISNetworld training and badging requirements
Bump test and calibrate CO monitors
Assist with LOTO
Provide safety training as needed
Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
