About The Position

Construction Safety Manager Location: Manassas, VA Duration: 3 Months (Start: 6/1) Type: 1099 Contractor Job Details Hourly Rate: $57/HR Per Diem: No perdiem Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay: Weekly Schedule: 50 hrs/week (Mon-Fri) | Saturdays as needed Project Scope The construction safety manager will oversee the safety for a structural steel contractor on a data center construction project

Requirements

• SHA 500 or 510 with 5 years of experience
• Structural Steel experience required
• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations

Nice To Haves

• OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
• Monitor OSHA compliance
• Upload documentation into Procore
• Daily safety reports
• Track workforce safety compliance
• Maintain safety logs and compliance records
• Fall protection enforcement (CRITICAL priority)
• Provide safety training as needed
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
