About The Position

This project involves safety management for structural steel installation at a new data center. Responsibilities include overseeing steel contractor safety compliance, conducting site inspections, providing safety training, enforcing OSHA and site-specific protocols, and maintaining safety documentation.

Requirements

• OSHA 510/500 & 5+ years of electrical safety experience
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices specific to structural steel
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in OSHA compliance and contractor safety management
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple contractors and stakeholders
• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA standards and safety regulations related to structural steel construction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments for structural steel activities
• Manage contractor safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
• Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and corrective action documentation
• Coordinate safety procedures with project leadership and contractors
• Support incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
