About The Position
The Safety Manager near Indianapolis, IN supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety. Oversee all aspects of the commercial construction project within the pharmaceutical facility ensuring OSHA compliance
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years direct construction safety experience required
- Active BCSP certification required
- OSHA 510 and or OSHA 500 required
- Advanced knowledge pharmaceutical safety protocols
- Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards
- Great verbal and written communication
- Ability to coach and mentor in all facets of the construction safety process
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Nice To Haves
- Degree in a safety field is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Daily safety audits and inspections
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
- Write job hazard analysis (JHA) and health & safety plans (HASP)
