HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years direct construction safety experience required
• Active OSHA 30 + OSHA 510 and or OSHA 500 required
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Nice To Haves

• Degree in a safety related field is a plus
• Active BCSP certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
