Requirements

  • Experience in developing and implementing safety programs.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety training and workshops.
  • Experience in monitoring and improving safety policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with environmental safety regulations.
  • Certification in safety management or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental, fleet safety, and occupational health and safety programs to ensure legal compliance.
  • Administer safety programs within budgetary guidelines.
  • Conduct safety training as necessary.
  • Decrease lost days from work and OSHA recordable incidents.
  • Demonstrate awareness of customer needs and perform job duties to meet those needs effectively.
  • Develop interpersonal relationships that encourage openness, candor, and trust internally and externally.
  • Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Improve safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor safety programs and implement necessary changes to ensure the health and safety of associates.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
