In this position you will work on the assigned project sites and traveling nationwide as needed. The purpose of the Safety Manager is to create, inspire, and maintain a 'Safe Thinking' safety culture. This position will lead, direct, facilitate, and support project 'Safe Thinking' safety initiatives for a project. The Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring the completion of safety audits and inspections as well as all required internal and external reporting obligations are met, including monthly reporting of site safety metrics. Through planning, leading, evaluating, and continuously improving the awareness and practice of safe construction methods, the manager will strive to create an environment encouraging a collaborative working spirit and an integrated project culture.
