About The Position

The Safety Manager will support field safety execution, project inspections, targeted coaching, internal training initiatives, and safety program coordination, especially in partnership with CORE Safety. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, field -capable, coachable, and committed to developing into a stronger safety professional The safety manager will support company compliance with applicable OSHA standards, federal regulations, and client safety requirements through field observations, program support, and corrective action follow -up. Travel Requirement: This role requires at least 50% travel to jobsites for safety observations, inspections, and field support.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction, industrial, electrical, or field operations environments (safety -related experience preferred).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and influence field teams professionally.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid role (office, remote, and field).
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more to active jobsites.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow -through on action items.
  • Working knowledge of basic safety practices and hazard recognition.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting safety inspections, observations, or incident prevention efforts.
  • Experience in electrical safety environments, commissioning, or start -up activities.
  • Experience working with third -party safety consultants or clients on safety compliance expectations.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, reporting, and training coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Work hand -in -hand with CORE Safety and internal leadership to improve and maintain the company safety program.
  • Help implement safety initiatives, procedures, and field expectations across projects.
  • Provide CORE Safety with areas of focus based on field observations, trends, and project risks.
  • Assist in tracking corrective actions, follow -up items, and program improvements.
  • Travel to jobsites to conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits.
  • Support project teams with safe work planning and execution.
  • Monitor field conditions and behaviors to identify hazards, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with oversight of critical tasks, including but not limited to start -ups, commissioning activities, and other high -risk or sensitive operations.
  • The Safety Manager is expected to support and reinforce the company's Stop Work Authority policy when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed.
  • Provide targeted coaching for personnel who need additional oversight and support.
  • Help reinforce safety expectations through field engagement and follow -up.
  • Assist with internal training, including specific electrical safety training.
  • Support future development initiatives, including alignment with Qualified Person Levels (Levels 1 -4) as the program evolves.
  • Maintain documentation of inspections, observations, coaching activities, and follow -up actions.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for internal leadership and CORE Safety collaboration meetings.
  • Track trends and recurring issues to support proactive safety improvements.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of safety -related meetings, training, and field visits.
