In this role, you will be responsible for planning, establishing and maintaining all required health, safety and environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. If you are a self-starting leader who enjoys the challenges of daily involvement with an operation and maintenance team, this role may be for you.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years' relevant experience in a supervisory/management role.
• Working knowledge of fire and safety related codes, State, County, Federal laws and regulations preferred.
• Prior working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and management of regulatory safety programs, compliance initiatives, and training efforts.
• Assess training effectiveness, monitor compliance, and ensure all employees complete mandatory safety training.
• Review and coordinate the testing and maintenance of fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, to ensure operational readiness.
• Act as the primary liaison to regulatory agencies, the Center of Excellence, and external partners regarding safety programs and initiatives.
• Lead and facilitate property safety committee meetings in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct property safety assessments to identify potential occupational hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with OSHA and Fire Departments during safety inspections.
• Implement Incident Command Structure protocols in emergency situations to ensure an organized and effective response.
• Enforce all fire, safety policies, and relevant regulations, ensuring adherence to applicable local, state, and federal laws.
