About The Position

We are STS Systems Support, LLC (SSS), a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. SSS is seeking a Safety Management Plan Support who shall provide support to the Wing Safety program by complying with applicable and mandatory directives. The Contractor shall execute and organize all safety related activities as prescribed by the Chief of Safety and/or the Occupational Safety Manager. This position is 100% on site at Lackland AFB and requires a TS/SCI clearance level. What You'll Do: The contractor shall analyze mishap causes and trends and assess risk. Compile and analyze mishap data, identify trends, provide managers with mishap/trend analysis data, and assist with developing programs to reduce mishaps and assess risk. The contractor shall evaluate, inspect and survey areas and activities and provide recommendations to eliminate mishap potentials. The contractor shall conduct mishap investigations and provide risk management consultation. The contractor shall conduct safety education to 67 CW personnel as prescribed by the Chief of Safety and/or the Occupational Safety Manager. The contractor shall perform periodic evaluations and spot inspections to determine compliance with appropriate occupational safety and health regulations. The contractor shall conduct an annual safety and occupational health inspections of facilities and equipment related to work operations. The contractor shall conduct formal investigations of reportable and non-reportable mishaps involving personal injury accidents, property damage, and cases of occupational illnesses when required.
