About The Position

DMT Trucking is seeking a full-time Safety Lane Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate must be organized, able to work well with others, and capable of giving and receiving instructions. A general knowledge of transportation safety and mechanical aspects is expected, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. The Safety Lane Inspector will be responsible for inspecting all company equipment coming in and out of the facility for DOT violations and completing minor repairs such as tires and lights. The role requires a commitment to expanding knowledge on Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) and trailers.

Requirements

• Minor mechanic experience
• Safety experience
• People skills
• Basic technology skills

Responsibilities

• Inspect all company equipment coming in and out of the facility for DOT violations.
• Complete minor repairs such as tires, lights, etc.
• Willing to expand knowledge on CMV and trailers.
