Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of experience directly engaging with and supervising adolescent students (middle school/high school age) in roles focused on campus security and behavioral oversight. This practical, job-relevant experience must have occurred within the last five years.
  • Verification of a High School diploma, a GED certificate, or a higher degree, supplemented by training or coursework in behavior modification techniques, student supervision, or a closely related field will be required at time of hire.
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate covering Infant, Child, and Adult protocols.
  • The CPR training component must be a verified in-person course.
  • Certifications must be issued by a recognized organization (e.g., the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross).
  • These certifications must be kept active as a condition of continued employment.
  • Certificate - School Security Officer Training (SB 390) OR Campus Law Enforcement Course (PC 832g). In compliance with EC 38001.5.
  • POST LEVEL II (PC 832)
  • Verification of a valid California Driver's License
  • Two (2) recent letters of recommendation are REQUIRED. The letters must be signed and dated within the last two (2) years. Acceptable signatures are: electronic document (Docusign or similar platform) or handwritten signatures. Typed signatures will not be accepted.
