Safety Intern

As an intern, you will assist with the corporate-wide Safety management program, ensuring compliance with government and company regulations. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing job-specific safety plans, coordinating inspections, and assisting with the claims process. Your responsibilities will include attending weekly subcontractor meetings to stay informed about project progress and safety matters. You will monitor the safety efforts of subcontractors and Brinkmann employees, enforcing compliance by conducting job site inspections and addressing any issues that arise. Additionally, you will review documentation to ensure that all required onsite records and reports are complete and accurate, assisting with the development and implementation of job-specific safety plans. Scheduling jobsite visits and safety audits will also be part of your role, along with conducting documented Project Safety and Health Inspections. You will work directly with the Senior Safety Manager or Safety Manager, gaining valuable insights and experience in the field.
