About The Position
The Safety Intern will support the Safety Management team in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment across construction projects. This role offers hands-on experience in implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and supporting compliance efforts.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor-level degree program in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of construction safety principles and OSHA standards
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and safety documentation
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting site safety inspections and audits
- Support the development and implementation of safety plans and procedures
- Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses
- Help organize safety training sessions and toolbox talks
- Maintain safety documentation and records
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards
