Requirements

  • Undergraduate student graduating in 2027, 2028 or 2029 or master’s / graduate student pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Sciences or similar.
  • Microsoft Excel – Proficient in data analysis, charting, and reporting for EHS metrics.

Nice To Haves

  • Root Cause Analysis – Preferred experience through coursework or internships.
  • EPA Permitting – Familiarity with environmental permitting and regulatory reporting (preferred).
  • OSHA Regulations – Understanding of key safety standards, including JSA and LOTO (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Get hands-on experience creating and maintaining EHS programs, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Assist in auditing LOTO systems and updating safety documentation to ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Analyze emissions and temperature data from Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs) to support environmental reporting and compliance.
  • Gain experience preparing state-level emissions reports and EPA permitting documentation.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for safety incidents and near-misses, contributing to corrective action planning.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze EHS data, track compliance metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
