The capable candidate for this position needs a sharp attention to detail, they need to be self-motivated and be able to find the nuances in similar situations. Essential job duties include:

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required, college work or completion preferred
1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of Compliance management systems, Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Responsibilities

Ensuring CMV drivers adhere to FMCSA & DOT compliance pre and post hire.
Monitoring driver alerts to ensure continued qualification.
Reviewing medical situations to determine what follow up actions may be required.
Renewing and dispersing DOT required permits.
Reviewing and coaching drivers on forward facing camera captured events.
Reviewing, coaching and disciplining drivers on DOT HOS violations.
Being available for phone calls from our driving partners.
Proactively coaching drivers in problem areas.
Uploading and organizing personnel files.
Training other employees in all the above as assigned.
Various projects as needed.
