CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Entry Level Safety Coordinator. Role and Responsibilities Maintains required safety documents/files Monitors reporting of and investigates near-miss situations Conducts periodic safety walk-through inspections of all workplace facilities, identifying potential hazards and ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken Completes inspections of safety equipment at all workplace facilities Participates in safety investigations and audits Participates in the injury investigation and reporting process Participates in and maintain minutes of safety committee meetings, working with leadership to ensure action items are followed through until completion Provides safety training as needed Provides safety program support in areas including but not limited to employee, contractors, and facility safety; safety training Assists with executing the organizations and departments overall risk and safety strategy Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient English abilities required
- Must be able to perform multiple duties and complete assigned duties with deadlines
- Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
- Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
- Excellent time-management skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision
- Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
- Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
- Occasional stooping or crouching
- Use of small hand tools
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree in related field preferred
- OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods, preferred
Responsibilities
